The moment it's your turn, the coach shows the optimal play and the why. Behind the plain-English answer sits the real math: pot odds, minimum defense, range-vs-range equity. Heads-up postflop, an exact CFR solver solves your actual hand in the background and upgrades the answer with equilibrium frequencies and per-action EVs. One click plays the optimal line.
The whole strategy, not just your hand
Strong players don't ask "what do I do with this hand" — they ask "what would I do with every hand here." At any decision, the live matrix shows the coach's exact mix for all 169 hands you could hold, labeled by spot, your hand starred. In solved spots it displays the solver's own equilibrium, per-action EVs included. Study it as long as you like: Step mode pauses the table between every single decision.
Reads that change the strategy
Real players aren't balanced, and pure GTO leaves money against them. Tag an opponent's style and every recommendation shifts to the exploit, from preflop mixes to river bluff-catches. The app never tells you whether the read is right — it exploits in the direction you believe and will follow you off a cliff if you're wrong, exactly like a real table. Your read accuracy is scored after the session, when it can teach you something instead of feeding you the answer. We haven't found another trainer with a live, in-session read loop.
Reps that build instincts
The preflop drill deals you the decisions that matter: mixed-strategy spots, short-stack reshoves, tournament bubbles under real ICM pressure, biased toward the exact situations you've been leaking in. Instant grading against the same charts the coach teaches. Hundreds of reps an hour.

Most trainers hand you somebody's opinion of a preflop range. OptimaPoker ships 57 full-ring preflop trees solved in HRC Pro under licence and converted to static data in the box — no metered lookups, no cloud round-trip, no subscription meter ticking while you study.
Ten cash depths. Twelve tournament depths. Thirty-two ICM trees.
The 57 break down as 10 cash 9-max chip-EV trees (4–200bb), 12 tournament 9-max chip-EV trees (5–100bb), 32 ICM trees — eleven at bubble factor 1.15, eleven at 1.50, ten at 2.20 — and 3 10-max trees. Cash coverage runs continuously from 2.9bb to 256bb, so any stack in that range resolves to a solved tree. The bubble isn't a heuristic nudge: it's a different solved solution. And the lookup walks your actual preflop action sequence into the tree — it answers the line you're in, not just the hand you hold.
This is not exhaustive and we won't pretend it is, and there are two different fallbacks. A line no tree covers, or a stack shallower than every window, falls back to labelled heuristic charts. A stack deeper than the deepest tree does something else: it is answered by that deepest tree and labelled "nearest solved depth" — a 300bb cash spot is served by the 200bb solution, and a 120bb spot at bubble factor 2.20 by the 65bb one. Either way the coach card tells you which one you're looking at.

One honest exception: on launch the app asks optimapoker.com whether a newer signed version exists. It is a plain fetch of one static file — no session data, no hand histories, no account or device identifier — and if you block it at the firewall, everything still works. Read the privacy policy.
